2. Product Selection & Sourcing
We purchase over 85% of reviewed products anonymously at retail stores. When a manufacturer provides a sample for testing, we strictly prohibit non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) or pre-publication review control. If a brand requests positive coverage in exchange for test units, we reject them immediately.

Consumer electronics and tools evolve through firmware updates, battery degradation over time, and manufacturer revision changes. We re-test products at 6-month intervals and publicly log all score modifications and corrections.
